Small sorrow

I went out with an old schoolfriend or three tonight. I am sad because the bloke who organised this has decided to move to NZ, next Friday. I haven't seen him in ten years. He is one of the good guys, as are the other folk I was out with (who are probably still clubbing as I speak). How can this gem, who I just got back in touch with, move across

I think that's why I avoid these occasions where possible.

There's no way I could have missed the night, and his family are having a brunch thing tomorrow that we're also going to. It's just... I suppose we all behave as if there's millions of time then there isn't anymore.
