Now that is practicing what you preach. I doubt I'd be a generous and compassionate enough person to be able to that. Apparently they even set up a support fund for the gunman's children and family too.

It really is an amazing concept that they can achieve that. I never had dealings with amish, but did meet with a number of Mennenites when I was in Canada. A very similar outlook and lovely people.

Notwithstanding their use of the Bible as a sacred text their relationship with $Deity is something that I was very comfortable with as well. Almost gnostic.
