Summary - if only they had known....
Gackt had known exactly what he was doing that night. You had known exactly which line he had crossed. They were both aware that there was no going back - they had passed the point of no return as soon as their lips had touched over the remnants of left over Parisian apple pies in a hotel room far from Japan.
They were no longer the young and rash, cocky even, naive teenagers they had been when they’d first met all of those years ago. Any innocence that had still been clinging to them had long since disappeared amidst the hectic and demanding lives they’d chosen to live. They both had a string of failed relationships behind them, some broken by their lifestyles, some due to their own faults, and some that just didn’t work out.
They were both mature and wise enough to fully understand the consequences of what had begun when long term, soul mate, best friends changed to lovers.
Or so they had thought...
