I bet everyone but vixen is getting tired of my ME fangirling, but I can't help it.

I just finished Lair of the Shadow Broker, giving me all the femShep/Liara feels. My new OTP, for sure. There's so much I like about Liara and her relationship with Shepard. Most of all, their trust in one another and genuine affection, Liara's opened up so much as a character since ME1. Also, I love how there's none of this butch/femm or dom/sub stuff, which is 98% why I don't ship yaoi/yuri couples in the first place, as it perpetuates cliches about gays. Not saying those who do have a dom/sub or butch/femm relationship themselves are harmful, I'm talking more about how those relationships are portrayed in media. Many props to BioWare for that. I've only ever seen one game series (Fable) that let you choose either a male/female love interest.

I never expected Liara to become the Shadow Broker, though! But it fits so well. In ME1 she didn't have much development, she was basically just a sexy sidekick with one or two character traits. They really fleshed her out in ME2 and especially for this DLC. I chose the option to invite her over for drinks and FFFFF all the emotions, I usually don't become so emotionally invested in characters outside of Zelda. Congrats BioWare. I identify with Jack more than other character so far, but it's Liara that manages to evoke emotion. I went "dfshjdkfsdjfhsd but Liara my baby noooo don't leave come back with me Liiiiaaarraa! asdkjhasdkjhsd ;___;" when she rejected Shepard's offers to rejoin the team. But, it's also nice that you can visit her in the Shadow Broker's ship now, and the bonuses are nice too.

Sometime I hope to draw my femShep, and maybe practice drawing Asari. I really like their design, but I can already tell their head...tentacle things are going to be a pain. Fun, but a pain. I do wonder what they are. They're rigid, so maybe they act as extra padding for the brain? It makes sense, seeing as their natural biotics and being able to be "possessed" comes from the brain, it would need some pretty heavy protection. Or maybe their hair IS their brain, like how the human brain is divided into segments, so too is the Asari brain, only those segments are their "hair." BioWare, I want answers to this!
