[After a final cough Eagle nods but looks at his hand as if expecting to find something there that wasn’t. No blood this time… that makes the ‘I’m fine’ mask really easy to maintain as he smiles at the concerned group of people and Pokemon. ]

No, nothing quite like that. But, my Pokemon and I did do a lot of training before attempting the gym. I may have tried to do too much then and it is catching up to me now.

[ She wasn't sure if she believed him at first and just watched him. It looked really bad, but she saw no reason for Eagle to lie. ]

What happened? It looked quite serious.

[Well, he was feeling better now so it wasn’t really a lie. Eagle just didn’t want anyone to worry about him… if he could help it. ]

I am not entirely sure what caused it, the feathers from all of the bird Pokemon was suggested as a cause.
[He suspects it might be more than that however. ]

[It's a solid victory. Geo was about to smile-- when something stops him cold. Coughing? But I thought-- the coughing fit reminds him of Eagle's illness that allegedly hadn't followed him here.]

Eagle just walks over to smile up at Geo. A poor transparent veil to cover how worried the Commander really is about this. ]
