So apparently I just can't have a betta. ;.; Either that, or we have a cursed bowl. x.x
Either way, I've lost two bettas in two weeks, and I have no idea why. The first one, I figured was sick from the store. He hadn't moved around much from the time I got him home (he was so pretty ;.;), so it was either that, or he was cold. I dunno, Lilu's fish was perfectly fine from the moment she stuck him in his bowl. Mine was in the same water, with similar gravel and furniture, only ten feet away, and he died. So I tried again. This one went into the same bowl, after I'd cleaned it all out and rinsed the gravel again, and in a warmer spot than the last. He seemed to be doing alright, aside from some 'heavy breathing' as he stuffed himself headfirst into his tank furniture. -.- So I took that out and put his bowl even closer to where the other fish is. He seemed to be doing better.
And then this morning, he was dead.
I should just stick with my community tank fish. -.-
