I wonder when Kyo will come back... He's been at it all day now that more people are waking up. Shishou still hasn't woken up.... I wish I could be more useful and have some attacks that effect the Shedinja...
[He hangs his skull-clad head a bit in defeat. Kyo's Togepi, Onigiri, pipes up from Shishou's cot, where she is applying yet another damp cloth to his still forehead.]
Don't fret, Kotsu-kun! Kyo-kun will be back soon, I'm sure of it! It's getting late, after all. Maybe Shishou-san will get his soul back tomorrow after another day of hard work!
[She, too, wishes she had attacks that would do some damage to the ghost bug. But she figures she'd be better taking care of Shishou-san, or Kazuma Sohma, Kyo's foster father and martial arts teacher, than taking down soul-sucking critters.]
[Just then, Kyo enters the Center with his Glameow on his shoulder and Persian and Luxray in tow. He sits down on the empty cot next to Kazuma (having previously been occupied by a recently released trainer) and rubs his forehead, groaning quietly.]
I've caught so many... but he still won't wake up. Everyone else is. What am I doing wrong?
[Leo the Persian rests his head on Kyo's knee, looking up at him with sad eyes.]
Damn this headache. I should probably eat before I even think about sleeping. I can't go to sleep on an empty stomach.
[He absentmindedly rubs the top of Leo's head.]
If Tohru were here, she'd probably cook something. Damn it. [He looks at Leo and Shock, his Luxray.] Once Shishou wakes up, we'll probably take a day or two to recuperate, and then we'll head for Goldenrod. Now, if I can just find something to eat...
[But Kyo won't be eating tonight. He stands up only to fall backwards onto the cot, passed out cold. Did a stray Shedinja sneak into the Pokémon Center and suck out his soul? Was he just too tired and hungry and couldn't go on anymore? Nope! Folks, this is a canon update. Kyo'll be seeing you in about two weeks!
Meanwhile, his Pokémon react.]
OhnoKyo-kun! Whatdowedo??? Ah, ahh!
[Suri the Glameow luckily jumped off his shoulder before he fell. She climbs onto his chest and licks her paw.]
Who knows, but it wasn't the Shedinja's fault. The idiot's just out cold.
[Leo, who is also quite concerned for his master, looks to Shock.]
Shock, maybe you can give him a jolt to wake him up?
Not while I'm on him, I hope.
..I can try. Suri, get off of him.
[The Glameow hisses quietly before leaping off Kyo and off the bed altogether.]
Stand back, everyone. One... two...
[On three, Shock uses Spark to get Kyo going again. Nothing happens. The boy barely twitches.]
Oh no, this is terrible..! What are we going to do? Now both of them won't wake up!
This isn't good...
[On that worried note, the Cubone turns off the feed.]
( ooc; canon update time! only kyo's pokémon will be responding, and unfortunately, none of them are psychic. kyo will be waking up in about two weeks. )
