1) I survived Monday's programming exam! I think I got a C which isn't bad (considering I missed 2 lectures last week, one while I wqas in Knoxville). It's frustrating when we work to get an entire halftime show on the field, BEFORE camp is over, only to lose rehearsal time b/c of rain. Out of the last 7 practices, we've had an actual marching rehearsal once. That sucks when you're performing at Carroll Co. I'm a simple guy- I like the "small" things in life. Things that may look like a simple gesture or token but are actually pretty nice to have. 1) 3 Volleyball matches in the Mariott Classic. This was a strange tournament. 1st- we beat the defending A-10 Champions Dayton (with former Cardinal All-American Nicole Bateman) 3-1 while #18 Arizona beats Tennessee Tech 3-1 (this was on Friday). Well, the 1st week of school is over and I'm doing pretty good... even after missing a class on Thursday b/c I overslept. The only "problem" I see is the amount of HW; there is a huge difference between HW for 12 credit hours and 7-9 hours. According to posters on the message board Inside The Ville, UK fans are now calling for "late hits on Brian Brohm".
