So, I'm sitting on the couch. The parents have gone off to bed and I hear this rustling sound from the kitchen. I figure Sheska found a paper bag and think nothing of it. The noise continues for a while ( Read more... )

Oh how horribly amusing. We have halloween decorations left up in the basement and my kitty knocked down one of the random hanging bats the other day and I heard the thud. She was laying, horrified on the couch and it took me a good ten minutes to figure out why. She's fine, but she gave herself a good scare.

Poor kitty! Well, I have some bags of balloons in the back hallway and apparently She Who Likes to Lay On Plastic stuck her claws out and popped one and on her way getting out of there, she popped some more. The report is she ran faster than she ever ran before. I missed this as I was sleeping.

Oh new bag of food days are always interesting. They like to break in, though this the first time one of them has gotten stuck.

This is why Mom saves empty jugs of kitty litter -- the food goes into the plastic jug, so it not only stays fresh, but cats can't chew through to get it.

We have two containers for the food, but sometimes it takes us a while to put said food into the container.

Also, Sheska's food bag is too big for her container, it fits most of it. Typically we put the bag and the leftovers into the Smoke's container, because the his bag is half empty or mostly. However Mom bought a new bag of food for him too (even though he really didn't need it). So we couldn't fit the Sheska's bag of food in there this time allowing them to break in for a bit of food.
