Not sure if this fits your needs but feel free to use it:

Delicate

I was delicate with nothing
I stood by
watched things disappear
An ocean stealing sand castles at night
the slow erosion of soil
the bottle of vodka you hid behind the trash can

quiet as sunrise
I fell out of love recklessly.

I was barely bound to this earth.
so how could I be tied to you?
Like helium I floated in a constant push
to escape our plastic bubble

Now I dream of you
shattered quickly like guitars on stages
I heard you’re drinking again
stare at that photo you took
with a gun wrinkled into the skin of your temples

Blame myself.
Even when I was folding your laundry
I never committed to you

When you were so delicate
I should have known better.
All of my metaphors for kissing are violent
You were a man
I should have known better.

You didn’t shatter.
you exploded into shreds of red plastic.

I don’t know if you’re drinking again
I’m not sure it is my place to care.
It’s a privilege you offered once
that was carelessly refused
