We are about 120 miles from the coast. Foster kitties have to wait at this point (duh). I've already transported two of my three birds to the shop. Tonight #3 will be boxed up & ready to move in the AM. Kitties will be next in line. Dogs are already here. If you read my journal entry you know what I'm up against living on the waterfront. Since the storm went from a 2 to 4 over night the decision was made to camp out at our place of business. The office structure of this building was *over built* by the previous owner & can withstand much of anything, so that is the safest place. It would be hard for me to transport everyone, but if necessary I can. I've got three parrots, three cats, and two Rottweilers (they alone take up the entire back seat!). We have our own well & a good generator in place. Also an abundance of "hot" batteries & a few inverters. We should weather just fine
