This is basically going to be a stream-of-consciousness diary sort of entry that is meant to help me figure out my brain thoughts. Feel free to ignore it.

Things will work out Brendan. I feel the same way about how I should be fully supporting myself by now and embarrassed that my parents keep on helping me, but it's just the way parents are. And entry jobs will always suck, but hey, we all have to start somewhere.
Congrats again on the Wisconsin thing! ^_^

I don't know how it works in the USA, but in Europe you pretty much have to present several years of translation work before you can consider yourself ready for a full time translator thingy. No publisher whatsoever will accept ypu without a decent CV, which is why I still work freelance. Try Manga, but be prepared to get a lot of negative answers. The market is quite full with wannabe japanese manga translators....
