I'd love to see a regular Dance Dance Party Party get started here in New Orleans. I've already emailed the NYC founders to get more info, but does anyone have ideas of a location? I'm thinking yoga studios, dance studios, etc, would probably work best during a time they don't have classes, but I'm open to suggestions. Inexpensive or even free ( Read more... )

That's a good idea... I'd actually spaced and totally forgotten about them. I know they have once a week yoga classes there, and it could be a good venue.

Any kind! That's the point. Think when you were like 12 and up dancing all night at a slumber party and didn't care what anyone thought of you and you just danced however you wanted. So none of that dancing at a bar where you're trying to impress people or not wanting to dance because you're worried about what people will think.
