DUMBLEDORE BUMBLEBEE. Did you know that the name Dumbledore actually comes from the ye olde English word bumblebee. It's 'cause JKR imagined ol' dumby flitting around busily like a BUMBLEBEE and thus; omg how awesome is that right.
Anyway every so often I go through this whole Harry Potter phase and read all the books again and cry over the bits where Sirius and Dumbledore and Lupin and Tonks died and read lots of fanfic and think about how epic JKR is and watch Tom Felton videos and reminisce about the good old days of HP when Harry could still play Quidditch without having to worry for his life and look at copious amounts of fanart. Then it kind of blows over and life goes back to normal.
But while that is not that point~~! That is not the point! The point is ( >>> . point <<<<< ) that HP is the bestest thing ever and it's so beautiful and awesome because if you read it enough you start to feel maybe you have a lightning-shaped scar on your forehead and green eyes and knobbly knees and a red-headed best friend, and you're destined to save the world from an evil gray/green-skinned bald villian guy with no follicles and huge gaping nostrils; and that by some power you're at Hogwarts castle eating steak and kidney pie dai and taking funny classes with a dead guy and vulture man (this is SNAPE I am referring to) and at the same time plotting how to find evil, save the world and break lots of school rules.
And a few months down the road trouble comes clomping into your school and THEN you save the world. And all is well and you go back to live with Muggles.
Isn't that so beautiful!!! I do not know how to describe it but HP is the most awesomest thing that has ever happened to me. Because it's so REAL! So. Real.
