Fringe | 6B Picspam and review/thoughts

Warning, this is extremely image heavy and severely long due to tangential thoughts. Of the "flailing my arms off" variety. And of course it took an entire week. I wasn't even trying to procrastinate. Procrastination is in my blood. It is who I am.

I must say, this was lovely. Not only the images, which I had a hard time not getting lost staring at, but your thoughts and interpretations as well. And I'm glad to read that it wasn't only my brain that went to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead during the mention of the coin toss. (Such an underrated play).

My brain, as much as it loved the episode, just kept going back to DW the whole time. I mean, first there was the whole thing with the cracked glass --all I could see was the Doctor in Canary Wharf sonic screwdrivering the glass and then breaking it when he was talking about too many "ghosts" crossing the universes. Plus, emotional quantum entanglement, being able to feel each other across universes? Totally led my brain to Army of Ghosts/Doomsday. Pretty sure the writers were watching DW again before penning this ep, lol. Not that it's not the most amazing thing in the world, that thought. :)

It wasn't just you and me, I was reading a few reviews and another one brought the coin toss up, but I already had it on my mind from 'Rosenkrantz' (I saw someone joked how the There version should have been called the Guildenstern haha) I adore that play, the movie with Tim Roth and Gary Oldman is amazing, definitely one of my favorites ever.

Admittedly I've only seen most Doctor Who episodes once, a few twice but I know what you're talking about now, the Nine episode from series 1? I do think the writers get a glint of inspiration of Doctor Who, though, yes. I have a feeling this would come back into play if, HEAVEN FORBID, those two are in separate universes again. It would do no good to have them in different worlds, they'd just break it with their emotional quantum entanglement!

Flawless picspam (the coloring is beautiful!). You made me open up my copy of the episode and watch the scenes after I'd read each piece of your insightful commentary.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ for you. :D

You were too distracted by the sexxxxxxxx. Hahaha.

Well you're in luck, as I screencap the show and I post them here with zips or you can go straight to the gallery. And I do logo free ones. For s3 anyway, I'm still working on the S1&2 BluRays ( ... )
