So, out of boredom, desperation, and/or the urge to blatantly waste my $3000 of expendable income, I decided to get some marijuana. I didn't buy the leaf-stuff, but  five "THC lolly pops".  The first pop I had didn't make me feel "high"; rather, it just made me feel a little more relaxed, as though I'd been meditating for twenty minutes. i really enjoyed reading your description of your experience being high. i get very euphoric when i smoke and it has become a way of treating depression, the only problem with that is it increases anxiety as well, and for weeks if i use it enough. so i get social anxiety even worse as well. but it treats depression at the same time it makes me think too much, but my thoughts are more varied and hit more extremes. sometimes positive but sometimes i see into things or think in a way i shouldn't or that isn't realistic. regardless, i can't get the stupid grin off my face the whole time. i say, smoke a little every now and then while also paying attention to your use and getting the help you need for your mental problems. i started using weed more when i went thru therapy that has really helped me. the problem is i can get lazy from smoking, as that is a symptom, and depression usually has to do with inactivity and not getting pleasure out of life. so it can fuel it, as you probably know ( ... )

Yes, meditation/ deep breathing will give you enlightenment, and if you're open to it, it will provide you happiness. It always increases positive thoughts and allows me to view my life in a meaningful, positive way. My negativity always decreases. Deep breathing has a lot of health benefits along with improving mental problems. Haven't you ever gotten a yoga high after an hour? You should read about it sometime. Breathing gets you out of the "thinking" mind, it's more a right brain-ed process, so it lessens the ego and negativity and tunes you into positive energy. Yes, some of it has to do with spirituality, but you may or may not be into that. I also found my stomach got slimmer by just doing breathing, since I worked out my diaphram so much. I can tell by some of the way you responded, that you might have some cynicism that inhibits you from keeping an open mind, a sign of being somewhat negative and perhaps have problems with depression. I'm the same way but am able to temper it through meditation. It's that powerful. Anyway ( ... )
