I just wanted 'ONE', just one of the same type that the NASA boys pour over with their magnifyers. So, I hit the download button and aquired a high-res photo taken by one of the Mars rovers. Well, 390 megabytes later, there it was. Clicking the 'dimensions' tab showed me that the shot was 8 feet high by 29 feet long. Kickin' detail. Amazing ( Read more... )

If by that you mean that even the insignificat things become interesting, after retirement, you are right. Bring it on!
When life doesn't have to kick you in the ass or smash you in the face to be exciting, vital and real, then I say "I'll take that too!" It only ADDS to the "kick you in the ass or smash you in the face" degree of intensity. If you can't feel the enjoyment in the small stuff, then you ARE getting old.
