Tarot readers?

Jul 10, 2012 14:52

I know I've got more than a few tarot readers on my friends list here. I'd like to have a reading done today--preferably a 7 or 10 card spread. PM me if you're available? I'd prefer something in the $15-$30 range, but I understand if your rates are higher.

Fountaingirl beat you to it BUT how much would you charge anyway? Might want to buy a reading for my partner.

No worries. I don't have official rates (I tend to do them for free, based on whim) but I will charge whatever Fountaingirl charged or $15, whichever is lower. Ten Cards.

Will you be at Readercon this weekend?

I've been reading tarot for thirty-five years, though I have never taken money for it.

If you'd be willing, I'd love a second second opinion :)

I see you're well covered, but I figured I'd chime in for future reference, just in case. http://nalidoll.livejournal.com/1005455.html

I don't take money for cards or problems related to the corporeally challenged, but in this case I am glad others stepped up, because I'd have to find what my child did with my deck.

I do hope nomming was not involved!

What deck d'you have? I have four: Marseilles (I use that for spiritual study--some Catholics are really into it and wrote books about it lol), Visconti Sforza, Rider Waite Smith and Golden (which is based on Visconti Sforza and RWS with a very interesting re-imagining of the Death Card. Funny cuz that card doesn't bother me a bit. The Tower, otoh, I don't much like.

Nope, it's just in a pretty beaded bag that Must Be Carried Around. It's a RW (not sure if RWS is different or just a shift in nomenclature?) and I have a Goddess Tarot that I don't use for anything but one-card readings because the spreads I used to get were all weird.

Nicole has vague uneasy feelings about tarot/herbology/our house being the Home for Wayward War Suicides, though, so all that is mostly in a box in the bedroom closet now. Oh, marital compromise.
