Hey,

Thanks HoMos!

1.) A store clerk at a pharmacy is approached by a woman with an infant who is obviously poor. She tells the clerk that she only has $5 and the medicine she needs for her very sick baby is $25, she wants a discount. The clerk tells her that he can’t give her a discount as it’s company policy to sell items at full price, he’ll get in trouble if he gives her a discount. A few minutes later the store clerk sees the woman slip the medicine into her bag.

Sydney decides to apply for a government granted student loan. Because of her parents' wealth, she will not be granted the loan. Sydney knows the government only checks 1 in 10 student loan applications for fraud.

1. Should Sydney tell the truth and include her parents in her application, and most likely not go to school, or should she say that her parents are deceased, commit fraud, and most likely be granted the money to attend school?
