My Top 20 Books Read (for the first time) in 2008I read 81 books in 2008, 71 of them for the first time. Which means narrowing this down to a top 20 was pretty difficult (in fact, there are an additional five books at the end of the list). Some of your favorite books of 2008 are my favorite books too! As soon as I saw "The Uncommon Reader," I knew this was going to be a good list :o)

I love Jeanette Winterson & Dave Eggers. This was such an enjoyable read- thank you! Oh, and I adore your header as well!

oh wow, such a great list. atonement and the hours are one of my fave books! and i also enjoyed eat pray love a great deal:) you definitely make me wanna pick up possession again, because i've tried to get into the novel but so far, not much progression:(
