I do agree with you, you are one of the few people who support the "looking for love" idea, if you want something - to go after it, but in a realistic way, of knowing not everything will be perfect.
I'd like your comment a lot, thank you. I have a lot of self-fulfilling prophecies to sort out myself.
Maybe it's not your friends, maybe it's you Christian. Have you even called your friends and asked them or just assumed and decided to cut them out? Because I won't constantly affirm you that makes me a bad friend?
Maybe the issue truly lies in you. I'm doing my best to be a friend to you but things like Saturday happen and I don't want to be around you.
I agree. Why haven't you even ASKED any of us if it was us. Some girl u dont even know off of livejournal is worth losing ur "support net" of friends, huh? Good to know. Just so u know I didnt do it and i dont know who did. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt though. I thought we were closer than that but i guess i was wrong.
You are one of the biggest sweathearts I have met. Honestly, I shouldn't be writing anything on here. but...
Maybe something to think about...
- Why is it so important for you to find the one? - Why do you feel your life needs to revolve around finding him? - Do you know what you want to do next after you have found him? - I feel like you should come first and what is important for you. When you do meet him, don't give it all to him. You still come first.
Friends come and go, learn to live with change and you will be successfull in every venture (and realize everyone is afraid). Read "The World is Flat" by Thomas Friedman. It is a great book about realizing and accepting change. The environment we live in today will be drastically different in 30 years.
Your friends, like you deserve the truth. Don't stand behind someone, even a close friend when you know it is wrong. And don't expect that from others.
Never give up a dream, unless of course... it changes :)
