In New Zealand at the moment... It is absolutely stunning here... beginning to think that perhaps I chose the wrong country... Anyway....Apart from being absolutely stunning it is also remarkably quiet which naturally affords me lots and lots of time to think.... and in thinking the age old question of going home at the end of this semester keeps

Okay, I am going to tell you a little story and you should take from it what you will. I lived in Brooklyn for the first part of the summer. I was just temping and doing the things one SHOULD do when one lives in brooklyn. I was not unhappy, but I knew I would be happier back home in Boston, but I kept telling myself that if I left I would be quitting/ it was the easier choice/ I wouldn't feel like I accomplished anything. In the end I decided to go home to Boston. I had an amazing end of the summer because I did what I WANTED to do and not what I "should" do.
