it made me quit my job. i loved it.

i love michael pollan's style and i'll pretty much read anything he decides to write about and be thoroughly convinced by his point of view. i really enjoyed Botany of Desire as well. gush gush gush. i have my sites set on some of his other books but i needed a novel or two for the time being.

The fact that you read and actually enjoy P.D. James just blows my mind.

well, i never read the one you read or the one you read part of, and i don't think i will, especially after what you said about it and also because i saw the movie and didn't really care about it.

but her main talent is murder mysteries and i think she's very intricate and her characters are very flawed and real.
