West Wing/Scandal, Sam & Olivia, PG-13, no warningOlivia has two kinds of clients: failed idealists who want her to save them and dispassionate bastards who want her to get them something. She prefers the bastards, because they're more straightforward. But Sam Seaborn is sitting in her office, and he'd always been an idealist

Oh my god, I'd totally forgotten there was a Fitz in WW. But, yeah, Scandal!Fitz does deserve worse. Like, I do believe that character-bashing in ficathons is bad etiquette, but on the other hand I REALLY REALLY HATE HIM. In my first draft there was a whole thing about Fitz being an idealist without sufficient intellect to back it up and Olivia thenceforth being wary of smooth-talking ideologues. I mean, I wrote it out and do believe the drabble is better for it! Still. I don't know if Liv would get together with Sam or not, but I know she'd enjoy him as a palate cleanser, if nothing else.

I admit I thought at first that you meant Fitz from West Wing and I was like "...." but Scandal-Fitz deserves this and worse!
