Wishlists, NaNo, NeMo

Last year I was part of a major initiative on LJ called Holiday Wishes, whereby LJers would post up their wishlists for the end-of-year holidays and other LJers could grant them. I helped develop a Masterlist and maintained the community holiday_wishes for a while. I got loads of wishes granted, and I granted some wishes too. It was loads of fun, getting random

Hi! You don't know me, but I discovered your other LJ journal (divabat) a few months ago and found you to be an interesting individual. I think I originally found you through the metaquotes LJ community but also found it intriguing that you are doing the UpWithPeople program. I've always dreamt of traveling the world, and discovered this program when I was looking for college study abroad programs last year. Anyways, I just wanted to officially introduce myself.
