Robin Hood 3.02 Cause and Effect

First time EVER in a Robin Hood episode where I cannot STAND a character, and not in the 'love-to-hate' way. This is the 'I-hate-you, cannot-stand-you, and-hope-your-character-gets-written-out-so-fast-we-forget-you-by-the-next-episode. And that character is Kate. She gets her own brother killed and she blames it on Robin Hood? She's too hot tempered and not skilled enough (and granted, maybe Marian was like that, but she wasn't THAT bad, cos hello? The Nightwatchman, anyone?) Oh my gosh, if she and Robin Hood end up together I'll be all ARGHFLARGHNOOOO (unless her character evolves to being more likeable through this season...) and be quite upset. She really, really irritates me SO much. I'm actually really disappointed in this episode; I think Kate totally ruined it for me! D: I want to cry, actually. Because there were awesome spectacular moments but I can't get my strong annoyance and utter anti-Kate feeling out of me!! Um, okay, just right now, in her first appearance, I've been calling her a b**** out loud SO many times while watching her and telling her to just 'SHUT UP' and oh my gosh, I do hate her. And I hate that I hate her! D: I would rather Robin be all alone okay? No one can take Marian's place. NO ONE. ANTI-KATE!!! And if someone were to take Marian's place, it ISN'T Kate because she's out-of-nowhere! She just doesn't make sense! Her character doesn't make sense to me! She doesn't fit! She doesn't seem to be convincing as a 'legend' character. She, for some reason, looks too 21st century! All the other cast members so far, they look like they fit in the RH legend time period. She does not. D:

Okay I have to now write about something that cheers me up because I refuse to let this post become all negative.

ALLAN IS HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTER than ever! I feel so sorry for Much! I wish he [Much] doesn't fall in love with Kate! That would really suck when Robin and Kate get together (I bet that they are gonna get together, UGH!). Much is adorable and I wish I could slap him to tell him to stear clear of Kate. She's trouble! Oh my gosh, Allan's screen time really made me forget about my Kate-hate for a while. He's gorgeous, okay? And now that Will's gone and married Djaq and we can't see them anymore *sob*, I have to treasure each and every moment Allan has his screen time. I think he's just gotten hotter and I don't know why. Maybe he's a teeny tiny bit skinner in the face and his jawline/face structure is more distinguishable? Not saying that he was at all fat/chubby in the previous seasons.

Also, there is no way that Allan/Kate is going to happen okay? I don't see it...they better not. Allan cracked me up so much in this episode, loves how he mocks Kate, kinda and teases Much. Allan-love!

Okay, haha, I think that might be enough of the 'shallow' part of RH comments for this episode.

I sometimes find myself laughing AT this show, because some parts are very repetitive and corny but it doesn't annoy me at all. I am aware some parts are corny, like it's kind of like Captain Planet and the whole message about doing your part in saving the planet, but in Robin Hood, it's about stealing from the rich and giving to the poor and the 'speech' Robin keeps on saying while he's stealing from the rich. Hehe.

I LOVE their little plans/gadgets/contraptions throughout the forest and how it makes it look like there are many of them when the arrows shoot and fly out of 'nowhere', I adore that. It gives me a sense of unity and 'fight for good'! Gets me all riled up for the good cause.

I love Friar Tuck and his rhetoric. He's awesome to hear when Robin isn't around. And sometimes, he's even better than Robin at words. Hehe. *hi-five to Friar Tuck* Tuck's got the power!

Little John! I felt a bit bad that Friar Tuck suddenly gets to be in charge...when technically shouldn't it be our Little John since he's been around longer?? I still like Little John lots lots.

I loved the parachute/hut/hang-gliding with Robin and Irish boy! WHeeeeeee! That would have been AWESOME to feel. Hehee, sometimes Robin Hood reminds me of MacGyver. Truly, hahaha. Always will find a way out! For a moment, I thought Irish boy was going to kill Robin while they were in the tunnel. Haha. I'm glad I was wrong. OH and MUCH yelling out to Robin and then 'd'oh! I shouldn't have done that because everyone heard...even the baddies and now they're going after my master.' Hahaha. Typical Much. Haha.

Were the Irish brothers really Irish actors? Or English actors with fake Irish accents? I have a feeling it was the latter, which is a bit of a bummer. Anywho, it was awesome the older Irish brother gave part of the money to Robin Hood and yeahhh, baby!

GUY. SIR GUY. LOL. I'm sorry, dude, I can't NOT laugh at your hair, STILL. You're a Hercules-wannabe and you really suck at it. You're a laughing stock to me. Having said that, I hope you get Sheriff back GOOD and WELL for sending you to Prince John as a peace-offering/exchange-for-his-own-life-commodity. Haha. Get him back real good. It would be soooooo funny if Guy ends up teaming up with Robin. That'd be hilarious and so interesting to see. Great entertainment.

Um, that's all I can think of right now, after having watched it once.

NEXT EPISODE LOOKS SOOOOOOOOOOOO FRIGGIN AWESOME. I have a feeling it's going to kick this ep's ASS. :D

[Haha, I still haven't written about the premiere episode...just wanted to get this Kate-hate out of my system first. First episode had more love than this one. From me. Hah.]

...I should really start to try to transcribe Friar Tuck's lines. He's friggin awesome.
