Ok... so... I didn't get the part I wanted in Guys and Dolls. Instead, I was given a part that just is NOT in my vocal range at ALL, Nicely Nicely Johnson. And maybe it'll make you feel better to hear this horror story:
Four years at new world and I was NEVER cast in a mainstage. The only one I really cared about was metamorphoses, but Stuart did not cast me. Talk about slip ups with seniority.... But here's the worst part:

The last week of metamorphoses rehearsal, I was in the black box, because it was during arts blocks and stuart happily comes up to me, slaps me on the shoulder and says "Why aren't you in my play?" and I said "Well, you didnt' cast me." and it turns out the whole thing was an oversight and the lost my paperwork when I auditioned. Yeah, that's right. I was never in a mainstage because of an oversight. I cried my eyes out in the bathroom, it was awful.

So congrats on your part, I know you'll do great.

o!!! and i had a dream last nite that i opened a computer virus from jenny and i didnt know how to get rid of it and it suddenly became a dog and was chewing on my leg and i was screaming "MATT GET ONLINE I NEED THE LINK ON YOUR PROFILE TO GET THIS DOG OFF MY LEG!!!!" but then i woke up. so i dont know what happened at the end.
