This past weekend was the annual trip up to NorVA for dads' birthdays. (That's dads, plural: Megan's dad and my dad. Their birthdays are in the same week. Nice of them to plan it so considerately, I think.) Despite some last-minute considerations, everything went pretty smoothly and it was a really nice weekend. Got to spend time with my folks

lemongrass lives in somewhat swampy/mucky conditions - it needs lots of water. It also isn't hardy to N.Va., but it may be OK down where you live. Ask the people at green spring (www.greenspring.org). Diane, Holly, or Mary F. should be able to tell you how to grow it.
