Yeah! And when you say you miss the snow around here, half the people look at you like you're nuts (presumably they live here because they don't like snow, which is logical, I admit).
Oh well. I'm told living vicariously through one's kids is traditional; today I get to live (in terms of weather at least) vicariously through my parents!
You're welcome to come up here and help me dig my car out if you really want to embrace the experience. ;) I think we've got about two feet at my place. My truck has been out today (gotta love high ground clearance and 4WD) but the car's buried in until at least tomorrow... and depending on how my arms feel after all the shoveling yesterday and today, maybe longer.
Weren't you here for the Presidents' Day blizzard in 2003? This is maybe a little more than we got that year, but not a lot more.
Nope - or at least not unless something really odd happened. By 03 I was down in Williamsburg....
And shoveling is good exercise, they tell me. :-P I wouldn't mind some shoveling in exchange for some snow, although I admit my outlook might change after an hour or so with a shovel in my hands.
