The Tea House is closing on the Drive. They just can't afford to pay the rent. Not enough people buying tea in our coffee culture. In our sadness for this loss K and I were very happy to discover Chai A unique little place located in kits, with a Persian feel. Low carpeted benches, big pillows on the floor, raw wood

actually I thought of you when I was there.

Also the food is organic and organically sourced when possible. There is a great variety of vegetarian (and meat) dishes from along the traditional Silk trading route (7 cultures) & vegan deserts.

I'm good friends with one of the owners...it's a family business. He swears by evening in the upstairs room.

thought that place was on main and king edward? *confused* I'm sure I passed a place called that on main street

I think there is an East is East restaurant on Main, but Chai is upstairs from that on Broadway.
