In the 'Peace Garden' at the Sacramento Parliament park there are a million roses.

Plaques inscribed with the words of youths were placed about the garden.

My favorite was one which read;

"Peace is worth having, even if I have to die for it." - 6yrs old.

Go America.

My roomate is moving!

This means the universe has officially stopped kicking me in the teeth.

I called shot gun on the choice of new roomie since the girl got the last one.

So looks like the newfie will be moving in. It would be K except she's planning to move to Germany to live with her dad for a year or so.

I dreamt I was was flying.

I've waited 28 years to have a flying dream.

It was everything I thought it would be.

And now I must go to work.

I've spent the morning lazing in bed with the kitten. This makes her happy.

We haven't had quality cuddle time in over a month. She's been purring for hours.

Follow up... I've done the research and found the cases which set precedent for women in Canada to be topfree. It's been identified as a Constitutionally protected right as it falls under s.15 of the Charter. It is protected by both section 91 and 92 of the Constitution ( Read more... )
