aww alex im sorry to hear that happen to you.
but i can understand the concern that mothers may have with a male nurse... but dont let that discourage you.

systems in PI are soo D:, here in the US theyre sorta strict about equal gender opportunities... my family is practically all medical professionals [some of which are male nurses]~ so im somewhat used to seeing/knowing that male nurses are good and capable workers too ;)

anyways~ keep on tryin at other places! dont limit yourself, im sure someone will see you for your talent and skills and not your gender. ♥

Sometimes the best nurses are male. If you love your job, you can work in anything. It's the mindset of the public that we need to change. Everyone in this profession knows that males and females are equal! xx Keep striving to do your best!

If I'm still in school, I would love to write about this topic BUT I'm busy right now jobhunting. Maybe you could write about it for nursing school paper or thesis perhaps.
