I like intense seekers. People who are passionate about their spiritual path. They don't joke around.
Noah Levine is definitely one of them. Besides writing a great book recounting his discovery of the Buddhist path, he started a weekly meditation group in San Francisco, now known as Urban Dharma Sangha. It's a group of tattooed ex-junkies who are not shy with words. A 30 minute guided meditation is followed by a Dharma talk and discussion. They gather at the Cultural Integration Fellowship Center (2650 Fulton St @ 3rd Ave) every Friday.
