So I'm sat here watching a program (on the net, mind) about "new media" and how people are watching less tv than this time last year. Well, in Norway anyway. It's basically a good example of how the "right-thinking" people (professors, politicians, editors) step up and try to discuss something they know very little about. You know what, though. Sometimes I really envy those people despite their blatant geekiness, because it's obvious that they totally love what they do and are making a living off of it. They're living their dream, and so what if that dream involves latex swords? ;)

Also, TV programming quality has completely fallen by the wayside. At least the reality shows are finally losing steam.

Well, I suppose any job would be more fun if you got to dress up as an orc/elf/whatever and beat each other with latex swords. Hell, if I have my way, customer service will be all about that in coming years. Service with a vicious grin and AN AXE IN THE FACE! haha, I just made myself laugh.

I've stopped watching tv, really, I only follow a few specific series. I'll later buy dvds of said series and watch them over and over and over. My current pleasure is Dr. Who series 1 and 2. Good stuff with badly made aliens and welsh towns being blown up.
