The other day I went to an interview for a journalist job with some kind of magazine i'd never heard of. Turns out the magazine is for women of age 45+ with conservative christian views. Awesome. The editor of the magazine, a guy who's been a hardcore journo for 30 years, did the interview and absolutely pommeled me. Very hard to get a decent word

I wouldn't have thought the world of publications for 45+ housewives was that competitive. :/ I bet he didn't like it just because you didn't write like an old fogey.
