I posted anonymously on your first chapter on here. I'm BrownEyez44 frm ff.net. I got an account just to keep up with your stories, and kinda figured out some stuff and answered some of my other questions already. =) So yea.. excited about the story, and can't wait to read more! =)
Awesome. And thanks for getting the account. I think people will be happier with the freedom to interact a bit more with me and the other people reading. If not, hey, you can always go back to reading on ff.net. Just as long as you're reading...:)
You're welcome. =) It is pretty cool to comment back and forth on here and communicate different things. And as well, anything that helps make it easier for you, so that you post sooner. ;P But I will continue to faithfully read no matter what! =D
I think it'd be better if you posted your story on ff.net cause i might forget to check livejournal lol. but i really love how you write so i probably will remember. i mean, good quality ff is hard to find! i can't wait to read your story! the first chapter was great!
You can post in both places but I think people should give it a chance on LJ. The one thing I've always disliked about ff.net once I knew any better was how there was like this wall between the author and readers. I still like it, it's where I read my first story, but looking at the old threads on the Spashley forum it's crazy how much more alive those were. LJ offers that interactivity while still giving a little separation to the comments so it's easier to read the actual story.
Anyway I haven't had a chance to read it yet (I know!) but your stories are always good, maybe by the time I get caught up on everything the second chapter will be up.
And for future upcoming stories with exciting new characters that need fic written about them... Milby? Haha.
Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I like about it too. None of that confusing stuff where you can't differentiate an update from a comment, yet, really easy access to the discussion by both sides. It's lovely in that way.
I remember that you like to wait until people have a few chapters up before you read. But I don't think you have to worry about too much time in between or me not finishing. Like I said, I already have the entire story mapped out chapter by chapter in a notebook (all 3 parts) and that makes it TONS easier to get things written.
Hi. I wanted to delurk just briefly to drop this lil' note. I've been following your work from the various sites that house your fiction. You're immensely talented, in that you definitely have the ability to hold the readers interest right through. I'm glad you keep pushing back your impending retirement from spashley fiction. I look forward to reading this latest piece and see where it all leads.
This is by far the only reason why I even browse ff.net almost everyday, and a few times also livejournal...I know, it's pathethic but I just love the way you write, the dialogue between your characters, the narrative, in general the whole story is great, it really captivates me. I just browsed your other stories, and I hadn't made the connection until now..YOU'RE the author of some of my all time favorite stories! So I just stopped by to say thanks! Can't wait for another update.
