Well, that was a unexpected phone call

Scott (the production manager) just called me. Because of a high bacteria count, they need to shut down the QSR line for today. That means NO WORK FOR Tae!!!

Do not worry, we do test like this all the time to catch things like this and all of our product are of highest quality. Well, of course it is, I am the one that is doing it!

So, what happens on days like this? Are you forced to use vacation time? Do they pay you? Do you catch up on sleep, or go out and sit under a cherry tree somewhere?

And am I being too inquisitive if I ask what they do to lower the bacteria count to the point where you can work again?

1. We have 3 floating holidays for cases like this, so I will be using one for that.

2. Sleep is always good.

3. Well, after they shut down the station and lockout/tagout it so it will not run, we use Clorox bleach. It takes at least 7 hours to do it, so I am pretty much down for today.
