Everyone has been talking about this stupid show for over a year now. Every day at work all I ever hear is DUDE did you see LOST last night?
Finally I got so sick of hearing about it that I gave in and watched it (watching tv of my own accord? sacriligous!)
And...
I want that hour of my life back :(

the first season was amazing (and this is one of those shows you have to see from the very beginning to truly understand).
now they've slowed the story-lines down so much, plus you only see action for about 5 minutes before they switch to another storyline...it sucks. Fucking ABC and their stupid commercial competition strategies.
I wasn't that impressed with the premiere tonight either, I wish the story would move faster. Sometimes suspense is good, but too much of it makes me crazy.

Yeah, I usually skip over it when I do watch TV and get to the food channel. I love Alton Brown. :)

its really good once u get into it thou. but what do u want- it was broadcasted by FOX. i think the reason that everyone talks about TV at work is becuase it's a way to making light pleasantries at your workplace without getting to perswonal. ppl always have their panties in a bunch at work trying to keep things professional. i'm starting to learn that u cant ben personal or even really open about ur life at work. it's considered unprofessional and complicates things. so instead ppl reach out using totally neutral topics that have really nothing to do with their lives, like TV shows and celebrity gossip. its a pathetic excuse for human interactionin the restictive workplace.

Definitely. Some of the people at work I've worked with for years now and I barely know anything about them. That's partially my fault, a lot of them socialize and go places together, but either they don't invite me or I don't act interested. And I don't have much to talk about anyways since in their day to day conversations they talk about tv.
PS - The show is put on by ABC.
