Aim log: Gen's children are born! Angeal is a godfather!

Genesis: There is a serene aura about this crimson ex-general, as he excitedly latched unto Angeal’s arm, guiding him down the fluorescent-lighted hall of the hospital wing. Nurses and doctors passed by with notice of the two, but were wisely silent in saying anything about it - Genesis wasn’t someone to be messed with, and even so now that he has ( Read more... )

Angeal: Yaaaaaaaay! He was a godfather, and Genesis was a father! Nothing could dim his elation, his adoration of the little angel flamethrowers he was about to see! His eyes were a bright electric blue, and he was physically glowing a soft white, having forgotten to dampen the effect caused by his emotion. There were no words for this, so he merely stayed silent, following Genesis and trying not to bounce.

Genesis: Genesis could, of course, sense that the excitement was mutual. As much as he'd honestly wanted Angeal to see and come close to the children, the hospital had to prohibit anyone but the parents into the sterile rooms. Those who had to enter, were also stressed to wear hospital gowns, wash their hands, and wear sterile gloves in which to make contact with the children. This wasn't the case, unfortunately, and Genesis had to stop before a wide screen of glass, smiling over to two containments, where two small sleeping bundles lay delicately and peacefully.

"Look at them..." Genesis whispered, emotion welling up in his voice. "...they are so small, and frail...but, I can't take chance to take them out of the hospital, until I can make sure they are fully healthy."

Angeal: He looked upon his godchildren with more joy than he'd ever known it was possible to find within himself. "They're beautiful," he whispered with a smile. "You helped to bear these two little angels into this world. They will have such a connection to the Goddess. They will be healthy; don't worry."

Genesis: "Of course they will be healthy." Genesis grinned at his friend. "They have to be healthy, in order to put up with someone like me, no?"

But jokes put aside, Genesis sighed softly a moment later, his thoughts taking him farther than what he was looking at. "Down the road, when all goes well...I will raise them to be very respectable and courteous. I, myself, grew up in a formal environment. Shanoa, also, from what I had been told. I don't know about 'angels', my friend, but these two are going to be the best of people out there."

Expression of emotion was something Genesis had difficulty putting up with. Somewhere inside him, he honestly didn't want his children relying on their emotions, as much as their common judgement. It may have been strange to think that way, but this was how he was.
