Was in LA for about 10 days until Monday.  Last weekend Adam and I went to a 90 minute boot camp class and  man, it_kicked_my_ass.  I thought we’d at least warm up, but noooo. We headed right into it hard core and never stopped. No breaks.  A lot of it was kick boxing type moves, crunches, dips, squats.  It was hard core. I don’t sweat much, but I ( Read more... )

You said it! I had to step away from the message board and site as I was going through some hard times and started getting paranoid due to my soon-to-be-ex stalking me on the internet.

I'm glad that we had a great time back then, but it's good to see that we've also moved on with our lives too! :)

Ah, the mind-game playing stalker psycho ex. I remember it well. So glad you're out of that whole mess. We did manage to squeeze in some serious fun and debauchery back then for sure, but I'm not sure I'd want to relive those days. I don't regret them, but once was enough.

Thanks, Eric. He's actually fine and only feels it when he works out, but not bad. It's something that needs to be taken care of before it turns into a real problem though and I need to stay on him to do it.

Blast to the past, Mark! We've all changed a lot. You're a "real" minister now and Barbie is married with children. Who'da thunk just a few short years ago? Whoa is right. :-)

I'm sure you're the man for the job to find the doc who will do the non-invasive way. Go Russ! :)

*hugs*

Thanks! I've found WHERE they do it locally. I just haven't found a doctor yet who does it where they do it. There are some in San Francisco but I'd like to find one closer so he doesn't have to drive into the city every day. They do this EECP procedure for 7 weeks every day.

Wow...7 weeks. I'm sure it's worth it though.

Look at that handsome RN, wouldn't you like _him_ to be checking your blood pressure? Or listening to your heart? Or examining you in.....well, clinical ways?

Hey Mark, thanks! I'm hanging in there. A little sick of all the driving though. 475 miles today. :-/

...ah, sad...no frequent-driver mile programs yet...

let's see, you still driving the car that you bought a few years ago in OC? Don't want you knocking about in some clunker from the early 2000s.....

Yes, still driving it. I tend to get comfortable in a car and keep driving it as long as I trust it, so I haven't owned many cars in my life. I also tend to keep cars in near showroom condition so it still looks great (except for when I let my father borrow it and he brought it back with a couple of small door dings that drive me crazy). I've sold my last two cars at around 130K miles and I still don't even have half that much on this one yet, so if I keep this one that long I'll still have it for several more years. :-)
