Just got this for my mother for her birthday.  As ya'll know, she's not well.  Today she just cried in frustration, so anything I can do to cheer her up, I'll do.  She's on the computer all the time  researching  and this will replace her current 12" laptop that she's had for years and has been complaining it's too slow.

Oh I'm sure she'll love it. It looks like a great little machine.

I keep hearing about the IPad 3 being released soon- so maybe wait for that?

I'm cheap when it comes to me, so I may consider an iPad 2 when the iPad 3 comes out. ha! But what I really need is backup computer fully set up and ready to go for work. Until the last year I have always had a backup, but I'm down to one - albeit newer and very good (got it last year) but it makes me nervous considering I now make my living entirely on the computer having web meetings and configuring software for clients all over the world. If my computer went down, I'd be in trouble.
