Where did our educational system breakdown so badly that it produced some of these people?

I don't know which way to vote, though Kasich seems rational at least. Not so hot on Hillary. Cruz and Trump really need to meet each other at dawn with pistols and they can't subcontract out the duelists.

Besides the lack of human interaction with others their age, they are sheltered from the "real world" and only know what their parents teach them in terms of what the outside world is like ( ... )

Another thing I've noticed about the "out there" group on the message board is that they make a lot of derogatory comments about higher education and believe universities brainwash our youth with extremist left-wing views. They truly seem scared of too much higher education, which leads me to believe they didn't make it past high school.

Most are higher income types due to this being a luxury brand auto board, but they are guys who seem to own their own businesses in types of businesses that don't necessitate much education. Nothing wrong with that. More power to them, but I don't understand why they are so scared of education.
