Hardwood floors

I just bought a house and it has hardwood floors, which are covered by carpeting in all except one room. The day we closed on the house, I ripped up some carpeting to see what it looks like. It looks GREAT except for some paint stains

Rent a sander from home depot to take off the varnish, and then re-varnish. Or hand-sand. You can prolly google for more useful info. =)
