Yes, friends and comrades, what you have heard is true - blutack and yarn are not especially helpful tools when you need to repair your glasses. But I gave it a good solid crack. Fortunately, while doing so, I remembered my glasses repair kit. Voila - fixed glasses

were the chocolate biscuits stale too? you should invest in zip-lock bags. they keep anything fresh. i am bemused at you trying to repair your glasses the old-fashioned way with blu-tack and yarn. that sounds like folio work to me! if it were a fine arts course, you could've taken photos of it and submitted your repair work as an intermedia project.
