I have it popping up in my garden and I've eaten it a few times. Nothing notable in its flavor to speak of. One of my local naturalist friends is freaked out about its level of invasiveness but I've never seen it spread much.

I would have assumed that was an escaped coleus :-) Cute dog indeed.
