Silently, reminiscent of time spent tracking prey at home, Genjuro sidles under the shade of a multi-colored tree and lights his pipe -- which might not be the best of ideas. Who knows what passes for "tobacco" here in Sieben. He settles comfortably to watch his roommate fight with his makeshift fishing pole.

Also he scratches at his leg, where there would be welts from flea bites.
