But I'm learning that an 8 to 5 job (or 10 to 7) just isn't for me. Will I make it through the summer? Yeah. There are good things about this job: getting in shape, feeling good at the end of the day, knowing I'm helping the world in some small way, etc. However, the pay, hours, and commute are enough to let me know that if I did this job for more ( Read more... )

You can make it! Summer isn't too long. And you'll be able to say you did it, and it'll be a good experience.

Now, as far as the graphic design world goes, you can totally design cd covers for us year two ^_~

please do not believe that you are giving into any notion of consumerism by producing and selling art. You are making and selling your own art with your own subject matter. It's not like you're a graphic designer that makes Cingular commercials. Then, yes, you would most definitely be adding to unneccessary consumerism in this country.
