Writer's Block: In Memoriam

All of those who died in America's early wars, such as the Revolutionary War or the Civil War. Memorial Day isn't just about those who fought in WWI or the Korean War (although they are important too) but the soldiers that helped get America on its feet early on.

Actually, Memorial Day was begun during the US civil war. My grandmother always called it Decoration Day. Her grandmother was a teen-ager when it was begun. It was the day to decorate the graves of soldiers of the civil war, hence, Decoration Day.
