Congratulations are in order to ndanukiwi, who recently explained that the reason she hasn't posted in two and a half months is that she's pregnant. Having not posted for four months, I now feel obligated to stick my head up and assure people that I am not, in fact, having twins ( Read more... )

First let me be the one to say - I am glad I am not the only one that has to scrub mold from the bathroom ceiling. I would enjoy speaking about technique over a beer or two one day.

First: Thank you!! And don't worry, I was under no delusion that you were expecting twins (though that's mainly b/c your lady has posted recently ;)).

Second: This post made me laugh so much I had to share it with H. He says it's amazing how easy it is to spot a Vassar education just aching for something to analyze. We miss you.

I kind of like the idea of a Vassar education thrashing around, desperately trying to get ahold of of something it can deconstruct. It would also explain why I've thought most of the movies I've seen in the past six years have been about the war. (Including a few filmed in the 80s.) Miss you too!

Oh my... you are always a delight. I firmly believe that if you gifted the world with your observations more often, that sales of prozac would plummet. Yea, the pharmaceutical companies would want your head on a platter! It would become a full-blast Sandra Bullock movie, with Sandra Bullock playing Julia Roberts, Julia Roberts playing Ben Affleck, and Ben Affleck playing the duck.

You rather avoid the question of who the duck would play. I do intend to post more often, but I don't always follow through, so if you sell your stock I can't be held responsible.

Wasn't there more to this? Or have the months whittled your epic thesis down to its core essence?
