I'm posting some stuff because Neela told me to. And I'm also not much of a socialite, so I'm looking to improve that by taking this time to blog on the interweb.

fire is the epitome of...passion
that works b'c fire isn't passion per se, but is like it, it embodies all/most aspects of what passion is.
epitome of suburbia is logical, but doesn't work in your context b'c it is the suburbs. ie fire is the epitome of fire or fire is the epitome of flames.
it's redundant and is a politically inaccurate use of epitome.
plus it sounds funny
